Epaulettes
Epaulettes are a developing trend for Spring/Summer 2010 following the exaggerated shoulder trend in Autumn 2009. Seen on the catwalks by the likes of Rouland Mouret, Karl Lagerfeld and Todd Lynn. I think this is a strong trend for the season as many different styles of epaulettes were experimented with on the catwalks from fur to military styles.

The ruffles trend for Spring Summer 2010 fashion adds femininity and purity to the season. I like this trend for its versatility as a garment could be made entirely from ruffled fabric as shown above or could have panels of ruffled fabric to accentuate the trend.
