East have just launched two great new collections.  The 2010 Denim collection designed for women who love individual, natural fabrics, with an ethnic feel. We remain true to these values today. Our products were then and are now heavily influenced by the time honoured traditions of the Far East incorporating, ‘hand’ crafted embroideries, wonderful evocative prints and vibrant colours to create our distinctive outfits. The collections include soft knitwear for easy layering, beautiful silks and simple linens. Finally, as all our clothes are designed in-house, they are genuinely unique.

Lorraine McMue designs under the fashion label ‘La La Loop’ and specializes in the design and production of knitted accessories for Fashion, Home and gift ideas.

Lorraine graduated from the Scottish college of Textiles and holds a Masters Degree in knitted textiles and design. she has sold her work around the world and as exhibited as far afield as Japan. Now based in Glasgow, Lorraine is still knitting her socks off and sharing her woolly delights with the world. Her skill and imagination create beautiful and unique products for people who appreciate them.

All of La La Loops ranges are made from Cashmere or Geelong lampswool and by using a combination of strong textures she produces original, vibrant pieces that have a careful hand-crafted touch to them.

Lorraine takes her inspiration from natures own simple but beautiful structures that give the effect of natural movement, from the patterns in tree bark to ripples in the sand.
