Work Experience:
 

Mar 2008 – Present: I am currently working as an Advisor in the Customer Services department of a successful Retail IT and Mobile Computing Company. My role at the company involves being the first contact with the customers, being responsible for placing and processing orders and managing a variety of other administrative duties. I ensure that processes run smoothly and follow up on couriers, shipping and deliveries. I manage daily internal reports as well as other databases and spreadsheets and assist in the handling of returns and replacements of damaged goods.

 

Nov 2007 – Mar 2008: I worked as a Receptionist for a thriving Beauty Clinic based in Thame. My responsibilities included customer liaison, taking and altering bookings, taking payments, making and logging orders, stock take, cashing up and generally ensuring the smooth day to day running of the clinic.

Nov 2006 – September 2007: I worked for Oxfordshire County Council for the Educational Effectiveness Service as a Clerical Officer. I worked in a close department taking and making phone calls, dealing with emails and faxes and assisting the Strategy Consultants as well as the PA to the Head of Primary Strategy. I was responsible for helping to organise courses for teachers throughout Oxfordshire, liaising with venues, course leaders and schools. Other responsibilities included data entry, word processing, spreadsheets and filing.

 

July 2006 – September 2006: I worked for a Care Consultancy called Brownbill Associates. In my position as Administrative Assistant I had responsibilities in recruiting new Care Workers for our clients, organising application forms, interviews, contracts and reference checks. I also assisted in the typing of meeting notes and other documents as well as filing, updating the databases and answering the telephones.

 

June 2005: I Worked for a designer called Ann Day in Oxford. Responsibilities included working in the shop, dealing with stock and acting as a personal shopper with the customers.

 

December 2004: I Worked for Cult Clothing at the ‘Clothes Show Live’. My responsibilities included working on the shop floor and customer relations as well as stock management. This involved ensuring that there was a variety of stock on the shop floor in various style, colour and size etc and that the positioning of the stock emphasised and advertised what garments we most needed to sell.
